DPA Protection Services, which was formerly Champion Security up until 2009, is a registered, licensed and professional protection service company with over 18 years of local and international experience in managing the safety and security of their clients.

Our aim is to provide a safe, secure and legally compliant environment, thereby allowing our clients, their staff and customers to conduct their business with peace of mind.

Our clients come from a variety of industry sectors from retail outlets, educational establishments, licensed premises and major spectator events to the personal security of celebrities and high net-worth individuals.

Bermuda School Sports Federation responsible for securing and monitoring all students and guest for interschool sports. (Present)

MSA School Fair and Event Bazaar(2009 - present).

Responsible for securing the BHS, Saltus and MSA High School Graduation Proms and After parties for May/June2010.

Bermuda Jazz festival (now known as the Bermuda Music Festival) since its beginning in 1998. This included personal protection, perimeter, door and crowd control for such artists as: Ziggy Marley, Lauren Hill, George Benson ,Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan, Kenny G, Oletta Adams, Al Jarreau, Gerald Levert, Gladys Knight, Seal, Sharon Stone, Beyonce, Alisha Keys.

We also have international experience providing personal security for the Sugar Ray band during their promotional album 14:59 , September, 2001 USA tour.

Provided personal security for the American Hip Hop artist, Redman, during his Bermuda tour, 2001.

Responsible for security and staffing at the Samuel L. Jackson celebrity golf tournament, Bermuda 1997-98.

Lemon Tree Cafe, Latin/Rumbar bar and restaurant event security, Gombeys Beach Bar and restaurant, Greggs Steakhouse, Docksiders , Pickled Onion Restaurant and bar, Hog Penny, The Beach Bistro The Club, Splash, Harbour Front Restaurant, Flannagans Sport s Bar, Oasis, Champions(Ambassador Afterhours Club)/ Locals Restaurant and Bar

All D.P.A. staff maintain high professional and ethical standards and D.P.A. is the only recognized security team to have received security training compliant with the requirements of the UK Security Industry Authority (SIA), the Regulator of the UK private security industry.

The security officers training covers the roles, responsibilities and duties of security personnel, including modules on conflict management and physical intervention. The training is accredited by international bodies such as City & Guilds, Edexcel and EDI. All personnel are First aid and CPR certified.

In addition, all our security personnel are between the ages of 25 and 50 years and physical training is an integral part of their training to ensure they have the necessary physical capability for security work.

We are able to offer fully equipped security personnel, including body worn CCTV with audio capability, radio networks for outside events, portable walkthrough metal detectors, handheld metal detecting wands and other personal protective equipment. We also offer Dog Patrol and a DPA Security Mobile Unit. Our network includes Smart Security Systems which help us with any CCTV or surveillance monitoring.

We, the DPA Team have a Mission Statement which is to help Deter criminal activity and anti-social behaviour from occurring on or within our client premises; to Protect all assets of our clients property and equipment; and, to Assist wherever necessary to ensure that staff and visitors are able to move about freely and without interruption.
