Description:
The very fact that our entrance is tucked down a narrow alley-way, gives Bolero a sense of secrecy, a place that only the locals know about.
When Fiona (my wife) and I opened Bolero In April 2007 we envisioned a neighborhood eatery, a restaurant full of warmth and charm. We wanted it to be a lively, bustling, friendly place, and a place where the staff are considered family. We wanted a mind-set in the staff that they work with us not just simply for us.
As in the time-honored concept of a Brasserie, we sought to restore an atmosphere that welcomes people from all walks of life, (at Bolero you will often see business people in suits dining next to locals wearing more casual attire) people that are simply out for good food and friendly efficient service and, overall, an enjoyable dining experience.
Our vision is now a daily reality and we continue to work by our ideals.
The dishes on the menu not only reflect typical Brasserie/Bistro fare but also reflect my classical culinary training. More importantly, our food is realistically priced, good, honest, and unpretentious.
The menu is extensive (in true Brasserie style) and changes four to five times a year; however some dishes have proved to be very popular both with our regular clientele and newbies alike. These dishes, some of which have been on the menu since we opened and due to their popularity, have become Bolero classics and will probably remain on our menu forever.
With the help of a very hard working and loyal team behind us,
( and a number of local awards under our belt) we are very proud to say, Bolero has grown from strength to strength and is now arguably (and I will argue!) one of the most popular and busiest restaurants in the City of Hamilton if not, Bermuda.

Reviews
“It's quite simply my favourite restaurant in Bermuda” Bolero Brasserie in Hamilton Bermuda is a wonderful place. I go there fairly regularly as I live in Bermuda and I have never been disappointed. I use it for business and private (with friends and family) lunches and dinners. The staff are friendly and efficient, the menu varied, quite original and well presented and Jonny the owner/chef is always very welcoming. The wine list is also very good. Visited November 2011
